My friend, Hannah, is a rapper.

**to the tune of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air**

Now this is the story all about how
One time i slipped and fell right down
Hold on just a minute and sit right there
I'll tell you how I got a perm all over my hair

On Westmoreland Drive, born and raised
In the culdesac where i spent most of my days
Hangin' out, running, and exploring all cool
Playing some shark down at the pool
When a couple of kids said we were no good
Tried to pick a fight, like they even could
We stopped the fight and then they got scared
Went back home to their house on Bel-Air

I got a new bike and when it got near
The basket said fresh and I had no fear
If anything you could say this bike was real rare
I rode it all around from my home to Bel-Air

I got my ears pierced at age seven or eight
and I yelled at my brother You smell see you later
Looked at my earrings they were finally there
Went to show my friends who lived on Bel-Air

Urban Baby Tours

I wish I was young, adorable and still able to get away with cute things. Granted, I still get away with many things but not what I'm about to tell you. I would not get away with this. Although, I'm sure my sisters would say otherwise. Yesterday, during lunch, my dad and were sitting by the fountain.
Eating our lunch peacefully, when all of a sudden a group arrives with 5-6 strollers. They stop and let their kids out and head straight for the fountain. All the little kids are anxious and start going around in circles, enjoying themselves and getting soaked. They were so cute. I've always wanted to play in the fountain but knew I couldn't so I was super jealous that they got to. These parents and kids were apart of a tour with Urban Baby Tours. I know this because channel 4 news had a camera and reporter doing a special on it and they said the name like 6 times when the reporter had to say her speal over and over again. The company is pretty sweet, it's to help parents orient themselves with downtown and to show them places to go-with a baby. If I live in Pittsburgh (who knows) when I have kids, I'll definitely take advantage of these tours. They looked like fun.

HP 6! HP 6! HP 6!

It's official, I just bought the tickets from fandango to see HP 6 tomorrow at 7:15 with Marissa!!!! :-) :) :-) :)

home alone=being at college?

If you didn't know, this past weekend my parents were away from Thursday until late yesterday. I had the whole house to myself this whole weekend. SWEET! I really enjoyed it, even the chores weren't that bad. Without having parents around I felt like I was back at college, which was so so so good. I didn't have to ask to go out or let them know that I got to where I got safely. I could stay out as late as I want or even skip work (or if I'm at school, class) without them knowing. It was marvelous this weekend. The only downside, I had to worry about my own food but I survived! I do know how to cook although I usually refuse to when I am at home. I actually like to cook a lot but my mom is always super annoying when I'm in the kitchen so I don't bother. Anyways, I really did feel like I was at school this weekend and I was enjoying it until my parents came home last night and I def knew that I was not at school. Gah, I want to be back so bad, for the freedom. That's the best.

What is it about today?

Was today let's-find-all-the-hampton-graduates-that-work-downtown-and-have-them-walk-by-Amy-day? Seriously, I saw more people that I went to school with today than I thought I ever would in one day. While eating my lunch at the USS plaza, I like to people watch so while looking around I notice off in the distance a girl that seems oddly familiar. After some glances, I realize that I do know her! It's a girl that was in my graduating class, Marissa (not my best friend, sillies)! She was eating with some guy which I assumed was a coworker. I carry on with my lunch and book (reading The Shack-which is fabulous, btw. I highly suggest it) and not less than 15 minutes pass when I see another hampton graduate pass by me! Phil was our senior class president and he is taller than I remember him being. He just looked different...it may have been the clothing, he looked rather fancy! A considerable amount of time has passed now, I'm done with my lunch and I'm talking on the phone with my roomie, Brittany, when yet another hampton graduate passes me. This time he wasn't in my grade but the grade ahead of me. Steven was looking all macho and like he was big important business man, although thats how he always acted so nothing much different with him. So I just added three people to the list of people that I know that work downtown. The list is growingggg!!!

35 daysssss
peace.
