Mundane

So my life has really been mundane the past couple days. My days consist of work, 8-4:30 and then I come home and do nothing-watching gilmore girls. so exciting, right? not to much to report. Although not much had happened in my life, I do have things that I have to look forward to this month!!

Tomorrow: KENNY CHESNEY CONCERT with Anna and a mystery third person, maybe Jared.
Thursday, 11th: Hampton's Graduation where 2 of my beefs are graduating along with other friends :-) And my one beef just happens to be speaking at graduation. I'm so freaking proud of her and excited.
Friday, 12th: I am going to go see Legally Blonde The Musical at the Benedum Center with Marissa. ahhh, I'm. so. freaking. excited. I thought I was never going to get to see it and now I am. life is good.
Sunday, 14th: I have 3 grad parties to attend. Dan, Mandy and Megan's. I'll be a busy party-er.
Friday, 19th: Hampton's Dance Recital. Bah! It will be weird to be there to watch without performing.
Saturday, 27th: Craig's Grad Party :)
Sunday, 28th: Karen's Grad Party :)

June is a somewhat busy month! Can't wait to experience everything that I have planned to do! Many pictures shall be taken.

Feed the Birds

I'm like the lady from Mary Poppins. My dad and I try to eat our lunch outside as much as possible and I love it when we do because I like to be outside and it usually is like 10 degrees warmer than in the building so I can get the chance to warm up. So we eat. I eat my sandwhich first and I don't like crust so once I am done with my crust I break it into smaller pieces and throw it out in front (or behind) of me depending on where I think the birds are. I feed the birds. It is so much fun to watch them. Most of the time, the first time that I throw the bread out there are no birds around but give them 3 seconds to come swooping down and start to pick at the bread crust. It's amazing that they can see that small piece of bread be thrown onto the ground but they do. Also, I don't know how but every other bird seems to know that there is a bird eating food so they come over too. Which is good, because I don't throw it all out at once. I try to share the bread equally and make sure that each bird that comes get his own piece! haha.

It was so cute though today, I have been doing this pretty much everytime my dad and I sit outside, and I had just finished my lunch when this bird landed right in front us. It's like he knew that it came from me. Birds have such a good memory. My dad tried to scare him away but he wouldn't budge. He then began to chirp as to say, "give me some food woman, I know you have it." It was adorable. I felt bad but that bird will just have to wait another day or just wait until the next individual comes to feed it. Although, I'm not sure that too many grown ups feed birds on their lunch break.

On a different note, 76 days until I head back to school! seems so far away!

Hybrid

This morning, my dad and I had to take the saturn to the mechanic to get the bumber fixed from the small fender bender that we had. Since getting we had to leave the car there to get fixed and we only have 2 cars (at home) we would need a rental car. So we went to enterprise to pick up the rental. I waited in the saturn and when I saw my dad come out with the rental guy, they stopped at a red Toyota Prius HYBRID car! Our rental car is a Hybrid! It is so cool. One of the first things out of my mouth when I got into the car was let's buy this. It doesn't have a turn ignition, it has a power button. so cool! The spedometer is digital, the gears are interesting, there's a park button, there's a touch screen, controls are on the steering wheel, and so much more that it so awesome! Sad thing is that this is a rental and the mechanic said that the car may be fixed tomorrow. :-( I thought it was going to take a couple of days. lame. Well I'll be soaking up the Hybrid awesomeness from the passenger seat as much as I can. :) I'm 19 so I can't drive the car. sad.

Maybe I can take a nap on the way into work now? yes. I believe I can!

Found! :-)

I found my Jesus fish ring. Hallelujah. I found it in a pair of shorts, that I'm pretty sure I wore last Saturday and got washed. Weird. And I know that I had my ring after that. Anyways, worry is over and life is normal. Not that my life was non-normal because I lost my ring but I was pretty upset. Let's hope this doesn't happen again. I don't want a bad memory like my roommate, Brittany. She loses everything. I'm pretty sure not  a day goes by that she loses something. Annoying but that is what makes her her and I love her for it, albeit annoying sometimes. ;-)
