July...really??

I seriously cannot cannot cannot believe that it is already July! Where has the time gone?! Has it really only been 2 months since I left school? It feels like so much longer. This just means I'm closer to being back at school. I can't believe that I have been at this job for 2 months. I feel like I have accomplished nothing. I can't believe it's July! It's my birthday month and to be honest, I haven't really thought about my birthday coming up at all. Yes, I made my list and passed it along to the family but I did that mid-June and really that list has been forming for awhile/it's just continued from Christmas. Usually my birthday is the highlight of my summer and it's all that I can think about it! I usually have a countdown going since like the very beginning of the year but not this time. It's weird, my birthday is not the center of my attention anymore but that's a good thing. It does show that I am growing up. At this rate, I'm probably gonna wake up on my birthday and forget that it is my birthday and the day will be as normal as ever. Not that anything special would happen. I just haven't thought about it much. I'm going to be turning 20...whoa. Gone will be my teenage years. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Yes, I want to grow up but idk. It's just very weird. I'm old. yuck.

well, Happy July! :-)
47 days.
peace.

$4 Tix!

That's right, my friends and I went to the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Game the other night for only $4! Granted, they were general admission bleacher seats but there is not a bad seat in PNC Park anywhere so we got a steal of a deal! You ask, why were these tickets so cheap? Well I shall tell you! It was the 100th anniversary of the closing of Forbes Field (our old baseball stadium). So to celebrate, they sold the tickets, for atleast one section, at the same selling price that they were when Forbes Field closed. They also brought in old Pirate players and were playing the Chicago Cubs, which is who we played at the last game at Forbes. Cute, right? It was a marvelous time of hanging out and having fun with each other. Since there weren't that many people there at the game (why? because it's the pirates and it was a rainy/threatening to storm night) I suggested that we sit somewhere else because the seats were available and the general admission bleachers were packed. We sat down in awesome seats under the overhang, out along the 3rd base line in the outfield. All was good, we could see the jumbotron, the view was good, and we could potentially catch a fly ball! About 5 minutes later, an older usher came up to us and asked for our tickets. Uh oh. When he found out that we didn't belong there he kicked us out! Seriously? NO ONE WAS SITTING THERE AND NO ONE SAT THERE THE WHOLE GAME. Stupid Pirates and their stupid rules. Now my parents on the other hand, sat along the 1st base line and DID NOT get told to move. Now thats unfare. Just because they are adults. ridiculous. It was an interesting night...but good.

peace.

Erika and I hung out this past Monday. We can never come up with anything to do because Hampton is gay and there is NOTHING to do besides shop and guess what, I'm not trying to spend money so shopping is always out. Coming over to my house was out of the option because we have my aunts stuff all over the house to try and organize it so we can then sell it. And since she was driving, we couldn't go to her house so we had to go somewhere. We finally came up with going to Borders and watch a Gilmore Girls episode or two. This was such a good plan. We didn't order or buy anything. We just went in, sat down, set up my laptop and started watching. No one came over to us to kick us out because we didn't buy anything or because we were too loud. We had the volume on real low and put the subtitles on. It was some of the best couple of hours I have spent. I'm pretty sure that this will be a reoccurring happening, especially since it was such an awesome idea and we both love Gilmore Girls so much. Borders was closing so we had to leave. We talked all the way home and then once we got to my drive way we talked for 45 more minutes! I loved it! Since we had watched GG the whole time we were together, we hadn't had the chance to talk because you can't talk while watching GG, it's a rule. We just went back and forth telling each other things whenever we remembered. Natch, Erika talked more. It was good. :)

peace.
