So as I sit here all alone (my friends went to Charlotte for a young life leadership weekend) tonight watching Sweeney Todd and uploading awesome 90's music (it's a new night, still alone but now i'm watching The Dark Knight), I figured I shall try and update about my life for about the past two months or so. Forgive me, I will most likely have forgotten some minor things that I have done but I will have covered the major parts!! :) oh and this post isn't going to be a day to day post like my previous posts have been, that would be ridiculous for me to try and do that. I was just really against being on my computer over break, like legit, the longest i was on one time over break probably was lke an hour and that was only because someone started talking to me on facebook chat.

ANYWHO.

so I left you guys off with the beginning of winter break and getting the job at American Eagle. OMG, I loved working at American Eagle. Yes, it was long, tedious refolding all the clothes that the customers picked up and put right back down without buying and boring sometimes but I truly loved it. I worked as much and as often as I could, whatever shift they wanted me to. Most of the time they scheduled me for only two or three shifts per week but would almost always call me and ask me if I wanted to pick up a shift or two. Naturally, I said yes. At the end of break, the total I made was close to $500. :) Getting a job was definitely a good idea. Now, if only I could have gotten in transferred but stupid AE in Gaffney isn't hiring...but oh well.

When I wasn't working, I didn't do much. ha. But on the occasion when I did get out to do something, that something was real good. Let's see here, what did I do? I hung out with The Physics Brigade-together, seperately, whenever I could. We never really got to hang out with the 5 of us but I suppose we can take what we can get. Some of the things I did with The Brigade consists of a get together at Karen's house for Megan's birthday, playing Wii-Mario Kart with Marissa, watch Saw 5& 6 with Craig and go to Starbucks with the intent to play a game but ending up at Craig's house with Criag and Karen. Everything I did with them was a good time. :) I babysat Andrew and Meredith. A first with Meredith!! It was so much fun, wish Brian would have called or rather text since that is how he always asks me to...at the last minute, the usual, and asked me to babysit again but alas, he did not. I hung out with Erika a few times. We just hung out at her house a lot, watching Gilmore Girls and talking. I spent New Year's with her and her family. I think I have spent the past three years with her at her house for New Year's. We went to go see the Hartwood Lights with her parents (which they paid for...score!) and then came back to her house and watched Gilmore Girls (the usual, haha) and watched the ball drop and as soon as it dropped, GG went right back on. love it. Along with hanging with friends there was some good family time that happened. Everyone was home for the holidays. We ate dinner together as much as possible, tried to go to a family movie but the weather stopped it, we got family pictures taken, went out to eat as a family a few times. You know, real good hang out time. The girls of the family went bridesmaid dress shopping. Sarah and I found beautiful dresses. :) (you can see my dress by clicking the follwing if you'd like: my dress! ) I absolutely love love love my dress. I can't wait to wear it. I can't wait for the wedding. yaya! I also talked to Phillip a lot over break, we would text daily. There was rarely a day when we didn't talk. I really freaked him out once with a conversation we had on facebook chat but it's whatev. I still don't really know what we are, whether he likes me or not. I'm just taking it one day at a time. I have though stopped initiating the convo's, like on FB or with texting. I only respond if he initiates it. I want to be pursued so that's what I'm making him do. So we'll see. I read a little bit over break. Not as much as I would have liked but what I did read was fabulous. I read Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (so flipping good, I highly suggest it), Eclipse and I started but still have not finished Breaking Dawn. I went skiing at Wisp Skiing Resort in Maryland with my dad and sister, Sarah. I love skiing. Christmas was good. It was weird without my aunt or grandfather there. We had no reason to save any gifts for the afternoon because no one was coming over later. We started opening gifts the latest we ever have at 11! Usually I'm awake at like 8am trying to get everyone awake and downstairs but not this year. I got a lot of good things. A raquetball racket, toms shoes, gossip girl season 2, GW long sleeve shirt, itunes gift card, twilight, HSM 3, Prince Caspian, flash drive, nike running shorts and some other stuff I cna't remember right now. There wasn't really snow on Christmas but bascially the week after christmas and continuing until I left there was snow. :) I didn't make it out to HPC as much as I would have liked. There really was no reason, I just never woke up. My parents never wake me up for church if I sleep through my alarm, that annoys me but oh well. Now, comes the time to head back to school. My parents thought I had to be back at school on a Sunday whereas I reallly didn't have to be back until a Monday but I wasn't one to argur or tell them otherwise so I left Sunday. Instead of going directly to school, I went to Lauren Browner's house to spend the night. So good, love love love her and Mojo!! :)

Now I'm at school. So far, I like my classes and even my schedule! I love not having classes on Tuesday or Thursday. It's pretty much the bomb. So far being at school I attended classes, seen The Blindside for free, hung out with the people I have missed oh so much, donated blood (almost passed out in the chair), gone to Gaffney outlets, done homework, gone to bible study, worked out, gone to the Miss Gardner Webb Pageant, stood in a parking space, gone to women's fellowship and played rock band. It's been a good first 2 weeks of school.

I'm hoping to get back into the grind of blogging daily about my day. I like having the account of what I've done and I know you guys enjoy it too! (atleast I think so ??)

that's all for now.
peace.
